Our Close Protection training in the UK is meticulously designed to equip you with the essential skills and knowledge required to excel as Close Protection Officers (CPOs). As the awarding body for Tiger Events, Highfield are a global leader in compliance and work-based learning and apprenticeship qualifications and one of the UK’s most recognisable awarding organisations. As such they are regulated by Ofqual, Qualifications Wales, SQA Accreditation, the Council for the Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment (CCEA), and the Security Industry Authority (SIA). In addition to this, they are also a government-regulated end-point assessment organisation (EPAO).
As an awarding organisation they have developed 300+ qualifications designed to enhance the career prospects of learners.

The Highfield Level 3 Certificate for Working as a Close Protection Operative within the Private Security Industry has been developed and is awarded by Highfield Qualifications and sits on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF). The RQF is a qualification framework regulated by Ofqual and CCEA Regulation. It is also suitable for delivery in Wales and is regulated by Qualifications Wales.
This qualification is supported by:Skills for Security (SfS), the standards setting body for the security industry; and the Security Industry Authority (SIA), who regulate the private security industry.

The Highfield Level 2 Award for Close Protection Operatives in the Private Security Industry (Top Up) has been developed for learners who currently hold a licence from the Security Industry Authority (SIA) to work as a close protection operative and need to be brought up to date with the licence-linked qualification.

The Door Supervisor Course introduces you to the fundamentals of working in the security industry. It runs over 6 days and is a requirement for obtaining the SIA Door Supervisor Licence. By the end of the course you will achieve the Level 2 Award for working as a Door Supervisor within the Private Security industry.

This qualification is designed for those learners who undertook their door supervisor qualification prior to launch of the QCF door supervisor qualification. It allows them to meet their mandatory top-up requirements for door supervisors and to retain their SIA licence. It is based on the relevant SIA specification for learning and qualifications. The objective of the qualification is to support a role within the workplace.
